Bread for the World - Organizing to End Hunger

As Bread for the World looks at what it will take to end hunger by the year 2030, we realize that we are moving into a new social and political landscape. This summer we are gathering stories of people in the Lehigh Valley who have survived very difficult circumstances because of anti-poverty programs such as SNAP (food stamps), WIC (Women, Infants, Children), Earned Income Tax Credits, or housing and health care assistance. Video recordings of these stories will be made available as a resource for local congregations to raise awareness about effective solutions to hunger and poverty.
