Program:Have you ever felt, "If we just had more people, we'd get something started!"Here's an opportunity to share ideas with like-minded people from other congregations. Many congregations have mission (outreach / social concerns / peace and justice) committees that work on the same thing or have the same goal. Why not pool the energies and talents of these groups? This one-time event is intended to bring people together to network, brainstorm ideas, map out an expanded version of your own project, or create something entirely new — it's up to you! Participants of previous events have found this program enjoyable and enriching. Come and share your causes — and meet new friends with common causes. Schedule:
The meeting room will have table space available for participants who have displays or resource materials to share.
History:This is the fourth event which originally grew out of a conversation with Rev. Dr. Bob Edgar at our annual Food/Hunger gathering in March 2010. Bob Edgar challenged us to begin working together on common goals across denominational and congregational boundaries, so that we can be more effective in our work.
Registration:It will be helpful for our planning if you can let us know that you are coming -- either through our web-based registration form (preferably by May 7), or by calling the LCCC office: 610-433-6421.(There is no charge for registration.)
