End Mass Incarceration

Our work in Lehigh and Northampton Counties is focused on:

  1. Reentry support for people returning from jail or prison
  2. State & Local legislation related to criminal justice, such as ending cash bail
  3. Education about the structure of the local criminal justice system and support services that are available to prisoners, returning citizens, and their families.

Meetings are usually held on 1st and 3rd Thursdays each month, 6:00-8:00pm at Resurrected Life Community Church, 9th and Turner Streets, Allentown; but check our calendar for updates.

The End Mass Incarceration committee webpage ( justice.ppjr.org ) includes a calendar of community events related to criminal justice reform and  a growing database of resources related to our work: news stories, reports on criminal justice issues such as pre-trial practices (cash bail, mental health court, drug court ...),  in-house rehabilitation, and reentry services.
