Farm Bill Resources

This year's Offering of Letters campaign--Seeds of Change: Help Farmers. End Hunger. --gives us an opportunity to work with Congress to make the Farm Bill work the way it was intended to work. The Farm Bill is re-authorized every five years and this year our letters to Congress will urge legislative changes to improve rural communities, sustain and improve domestic nutrition programs, and help farmers in the U.S. and in developing countries to improve their lives. The workshop will offer materials, key information, and creative learning experiences to equip you to organize an Offering of Letters in your church, campus, or group.

The program will include presentations and workshops on the 2007 Farm Bill and related issues, and conversation with special guests (invited) U.S. Senator Robert P. Casey, Jr., a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, and Congressman Charles Dent.
Continental breakfast and lunch are included. (Donations accepted)

Sponsored by Bread for the World and Lehigh County Conference of Churches (Justice and Advocacy Comm.). Please RSVP by March 22nd: For pre-registration or further information, contact the LCCC office at 610-433-6421 or Larry Hollar:
